We are seeking an experienced Contract Manager for a solar projects in a dynamic commercial renewable energy company based in Birmingham, West Midlands. The successful candidate will take a leading role in managing contractual aspects for large-scale solar PV projects, overseeing the entire contract lifecycle from initial handover through to post-completion activities. This includes coordinating with internal teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The role demands a proactive approach to risk management, resource allocation, and communication, ensuring seamless project delivery across multiple concurrent projects. The Contract Manager will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of documentation, safety compliance, and stakeholder engagement, thereby contributing to the organisation’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions.
- Proven experience in contracts management within the renewable energy sector, specifically solar PV
- Strong understanding of commercial and contractual best practices
- Electrical qualifications or relevant technical experience (desirable)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners
- Ability to identify risks promptly and implement effective mitigation strategies
